Day
Passengers arrive on May 9th, the first day of service for the

Dedication
Ceremony
Local government representatives dedicate The Breeze Bus at the
Santa Barbara County government offices in Santa Maria on May
19th. |

Balloon Launch
Balloons launched at the dedication ceremony carried messages
from local school children in Santa Maria and Lompoc. Michael
Seden-Hansen awards the $25 first prize to Greg Carigo, whose
balloon traveled the farthest. |

10,000th
Passenger
Early in September 2005, Wayne Botz received a nice surprise as
he was recognized and awarded for being the 10,000th passenger
on the Breeze. |

1st
Anniversary
May 2006 marked the first anniversary for the Breeze, with a "rolling
birthday party" which started at AHC and continued onboard all afternoon
buses. Attendees and riders received 1st anniversary pins, cupcakes,
drinks and a chance to win prizes. |

Strawberry Festival
The Breeze shared a booth with SMAT at the Strawberry Festival
in April 2007 and offered information and giveaway items. |

Rider of the Month
Imelda from Santa Maria was chosen Rider of the Month for October
2007. She received complimentary prizes and an opportunity to earn
the Rider of the Year Award. |

100,000th Passenger
Mark Makowski of Santa Maria was awarded for being the 100,000th
passenger on the Breeze in mid-November 2007.
